Balmy Alley is located in the Mission District. Inside and around the alley in the adjacent streets you can find collections of murals that express those artists' feelings about human rights, political issues and more. You can park near by and walk the area either by yourself or with a guided tour.
Another beautiful alley is Clarion Alley which is located between Mission and Valencia and 17th and 18th streets and was painted by Clarion Alley Mural project.
The Mission is also known for its great shops and restaurants. You can visit the famous Tartine Bakery located at 600 Guerrero st, enjoy their amazing bread and pastries––and after that, relax on the grass at Dolores Park.
